ALŌH Skin-Softening Hand Sanitizer FAQs

Do you test ALŌH Skin-Softening Hand Sanitizer on animals?

Never! ALŌH products are cruelty-free.

Does ALŌH Skin-Softening Hand Sanitizer expire?

Like all hand sanitizer, ALŌH Skin-Softening Hand Sanitizer does inevitably expire. Our hand sanitizer is created in an FDA-registered facility and boasts an alcohol content 10% higher than the CDC’s standards. Hand sanitizer expires three years from when it was purchased, after which it will still be effective, but significantly weaker. When in doubt, repurchase a new bottle.

Is ALŌH Skin-Softening Hand Sanitizer natural or organic?

ALŌH products are not currently registered organic products, but the majority of the ingredients in our sanitizer formulations are plant-based, including our ethyl alcohol, aloe vera, and essential oils. Read our full ingredient lists here.

Does ALŌH Skin-Softening Hand Sanitizer contain triclosan?

No, our products do not and will never contain ingredients banned by the FDA.

Does ALŌH Skin-Softening Hand Sanitizer contain methanol?

No, our hand sanitizer does not contain this toxic ingredient. All of our sanitizers are made with 70% plant-based ethyl alcohol to help reduce bacteria for clean hands and a clear mind.

Does ALŌH Skin-Softening Hand Sanitizer contain gluten?

No — all of our sanitizers are formulated to be gluten free.

How many applications will I get out of each bottle?

Of course, this will depend on how much sanitizer you use each time, but our two-ounce spray sanitizers contain about 320 applications, our eight-ounce gel sanitizer pumps out about 92 applications, and our eight-ounce spray sanitizers contain a whopping 1,300 applications.

ALŌH The Ultimate Hand Sanitizer Dispenser FAQs

Where can I put ALŌH The Ultimate Hand Sanitizer Dispenser?

Anywhere you want — the only limit is your creativity! Our dispenser can function as a standalone device as well as a wall or tabletop unit. Remember, you can opt to convert your standalone device into a smaller unit with the appropriate accessories (sold separately) or purchase the wall/tabletop dispenser.

How many applications will I get from ALŌH The Ultimate Hand Sanitizer Dispenser?

The Ultimate features three different output settings to control the amount of sanitizer released with each use, so your mileage may vary. However, you can safely assume that you’ll get a minimum of 900 sprays from the Recharge bottle, depending on the output setting you’ve selected, and as many as 1,000+ sprays on the lowest dispenser setting.

What do the different lights on ALŌH The Ultimate Hand Sanitizer Dispenser mean?

When your dispenser flashes blue, you’re running low on Recharge sanitizer and it’s time to buy a refill bottle. When the dispenser flashes red, you’ll need to replace the batteries. Any other solid color signifies that the device is in use. You have the option to switch this default color to one of seventeen shades, whether it’s your brand’s signature hue or just a personal favorite.

What kind of batteries does ALŌH The Ultimate Hand Sanitizer Dispenser use to operate?

The tabletop and wall mount editions of the dispenser use AA batteries. The floor unit operates with either AA batteries, D batteries, or both; the choice is up to you. Choosing to power your unit with AA and D batteries simultaneously will provide a significantly extended battery life.

How do I change the batteries of ALŌH The Ultimate Hand Sanitizer Dispenser?

The Ultimate is as simple to maintain as it is to use. The device features a magnetic logo centerpiece (above the drip tray) that pops right off. Directly behind that is the AA battery compartment — just remove the old AA batteries by pulling them from the bottom (they’ll come right out!) and replace them. To replace the D battery, check out the back of the dispenser’s base. There, you’ll find another magnetic compartment that houses the D battery. Pop it off, replace the battery, and pop it back on.

How do I install the refill bottle into ALŌH The Ultimate Hand Sanitizer Dispenser?

It’s just like refilling a water cooler, but much easier. Simply unscrew the LED band at the top of The Ultimate with two twists of the wrist and remove the cap of your Recharge. There will be an inner foil seal on the bottle — do not remove this, as it will keep the bottle sealed until it’s installed into the device. The unique design of the bottle makes it convenient to grab with one hand for even easier maintenance. Finish setup by inserting the bottle into the dispenser upside down and replace the LED band.
